BEHIND THE SCORE: Tranquility

In September of 2022, I began planning a trip to Thailand. Two friends of mine were heading there to work a season at a vacation resort. Their journey sounded like a dream, and I knew I had to go to see them perform, and to experience it for myself.

That’s when the feeling of anticipation began building.
By March 2023, I was on a plane from Arlanda, heading into what would become one of the most impactful travel experiences of my life.

On a layover in Zurich, I had a few hours to wait.
That bubbling anticipation needed somewhere to go, so I opened my laptop, put on my headphones, and began channeling that energy into music.
That was the seed. The first building block of Tranquility.

Later, as I boarded the final flight to Phuket, the anticipation reached a new peak.
I was leaving Swedish winter behind, the cold, the darkness, and heading straight into what felt like a tropical dream.

When I landed and got into the taxi to the resort, I could feel the buildup rising inside me. That last stretch of the journey, when the vision you’ve held starts becoming reality, was overwhelming. And then… I arrived.

I was greeted with warmth. Familiar faces. Sunshine.
The anticipation melted into euphoria, a harmony of spirit, mind, and body. A sense of stillness within chaos. That’s when the second half of the track began to take shape. Not anticipation anymore, but release. Peace. Curiosity. Wonder.

Thailand moved fast, a swirl of color and heat and life, but what I found within it was balance.

And yet… even in that beauty, self-doubt lingered.
As on many trips before, body image and inner criticism followed me like old shadows. I couldn’t fully let go, not yet. I carried that with me, and I wasn’t ready to finish Tranquility.

But now, in 2025, something’s shifted.

I’ve returned to this track with love. I’ve given it the final touches it always deserved, because now I feel the stillness I tried to capture.
Now, I carry this tranquility inside me. I know peace. I know harmony.
And for the first time in my life, I feel true abundance, not of things, but of spirit.

I made this track for me.
But I wish to share it with you.

Because if I can feel this good, so can you.
You deserve peace. You deserve stillness.
You deserve to feel good, simply because you are.
